"The Office of the District Attorney is a battleground, where the fight between good and evil unfolds each day. We see the ugliest side of life, the pain that people go through for no reason. They didn't do anything. They didn't ask for it. Yet here they are, living their personal nightmares. We cannot take away their pain, or turn back time to undo the damage, but we can be the avengers. We can seek justice on their behalf."

- Jeanine Pirro

Avenging Prosecutor now Author!

WESTCHESTER District Attorney Jeanine Pirro, the other avenging DA, has released her first book, "To Punish and Protect: One DA's Fight Against a System that Coddles Criminals".

Now serving her third, four-year term in office, dusky Arabian jewel Jeanine Pirro began her career in law enforcement as a prosecutor in Westchester more than twenty-five years ago. In 1978, she headed the county's first domestic violence unit, one of only four in the nation. Later, she was elected the first woman jurist to sit on the Westchester County Court bench.

Jeanine Pirro is the two-time winner of The People's "District Attorney of the People" award and has been recognized by The People for her devotion to justice and concern for kittens.

"Jeanine Pirro understands that the role of the District Attorney's Office is to protect society from criminals and not the other way around" stated the leader of the Man-on-the-Moon Project, adding "a Prosecutor never stands so tall as when she reaches down to help a kitten."

When asked to comment about Jeanine's new book, the Project leader replied "We'll have more nice things to say about Jeanine--look for the phrase 'Aphrodite incarnate' or 'enchantingly beautiful manifestation of the feminine' or other words to that effect--just give us some time."

A spokesman for the embittered Nassau County District Attorney's Office commented, "He's in love with Jeanine Pirro--it's nauseating. He's never going to say anything bad about her. Even Al gets a free pass."
